The Stitch Collection

Designed by KnollTextiles Creative Director, Dorothy Cosonas, the Stitch Upholstery Collection is winner of the 2012 Best of Neocon Gold award for Textiles and Upholstery. The Collection, which includes Mod Plaid, Tryst, and Marquee, is inspired by stitching and embroidery techniques as well as fashion.

A modern graphic plaid, Mod Plaid is inspired by a combination of traditional plaids and modern patterns from the fashion brand Missoni.

Tryst was chosen as an addition to the permanent collection of the Cooper–Hewitt National Design Museum in colorway Crow.

Marquee is a large scale geometric pattern inspired by patterns from the American fashion designer Vera.

About KnollTextiles

KnollTextiles, founded in 1947 by Florence Knoll, was the first company to address the fabric needs of the commercial interior. Today, KnollTextiles is one of the largest textile suppliers in North America, with products developed for healthcare, hospitality, educational, corporate, and residential interiors.

Under the creative direction of Dorothy Cosonas, KnollTextiles offers some of the most technically advanced materials in the industry, combining beauty and function in the Modernist tradition. KnollTextiles collaborates with cutting edge designers and artists in an exploration of new materials and constructions to produce a collection that is at once forward-thinking and easy-to-use.

KnollTextiles offers a collection of wallcovering, upholstery, drapery, and panel fabrics, as well as Imago™, that work seamlessly together, an approach we call the Integrated Interior™. Our products are designed to not only integrate with one another, but blend harmoniously into your environment, ensuring that they withstand the test of time and taste.
