Dale Fahnstrom received a B.A. and M.F.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Fahnstrom has been highly praised for his years of instruction at the Illinois Institute of Technology, where he is former head and professor of the Institute of Design since 1966. He has been Managing Partner of Design Planning Group Inc, and designed packages and products for brands such as Unimark, Phillips and Nec. He and his long-time collaborator, Michael McCoy, designed the Bulldog chair for Knoll. |
