How do I create an account and place an order online?

To begin, click "Add to cart" on any product detail page. Once you have added an item to your order you may either click "Continue Shopping" or "Checkout". When you click "Checkout" you will be asked to Sign In. The "Sign In" page is also where new customers can create an account. You may also checkout as a Guest, without first creating an account.

I created an account but forgot my password. How can I get my password, or create a new password?

If you have created a Knoll Account and have forgotten your password, go to ‘Sign In’ on the top of any Knoll.com page, enter your email address that you gave when creating the Account and then click on the ‘Forgot your password?’ link and you will be emailed a link to set up a new password.

What is a Knoll.com Account? Why should I create one and what are the benefits?

There are several benefits for having a unique Knoll.com Account. Your Account not only identifies you as a valued customer, but also enables you to check-out faster, access your order history, easily track your orders and view your detailed invoice after your purchase has shipped.

How can I check my order status?

To check the status of an existing order, simply click on the link in your Order Confirmation email, or click on the Order Status link on the top of knoll.com Sign and input your order number and zipcode.

Is your website secure?

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. All orders are transmitted over secure Internet connections using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology. All of your personal information including your credit card information and sign-in password are stored in encrypted format at all times. This website, and more importantly all user information, is further protected by a multi-layer firewall based security system.

Do you charge taxes?

Knoll is required to collect sales tax on orders shipping to all US states. Most states require that we collect sales tax on shipping charges.

When placing your order, we estimate sales tax based upon the state, in which it ultimately shipping to. All sales tax calculations are subject to revision and are recalculated on the day your order is shipped.

Knoll Showrooms and Retail Store

Knoll Showrooms and our new NYC Retail Store are a great place for design ideas, new products, and conversation with our knowledgeable staff. What if I need to change or cancel an order?

You can change or cancel an order containing a Quickship or Vintage product until the end of the next business day, following receipt of Your order confirmation. Any change or cancellation to an order containing Standard delivery products is required within five (5) business days following receipt of Your order confirmation. Any changes or cancellations must be requested by speaking directly with a Customer Service representative at 800-343-5665. No changes or cancellations may be requested by email. KnollTextile, Spinneybeck or Filzfelt Orders may not be cancelled by customer without the written consent of Knoll. Substantial cancellation/re-stocking charges are applicable. How can I return a product?

We stand behind the quality of everything we sell. Please thoroughly examine all items upon receipt. If there is a problem with your order, contact your our Customer Service team at 1.800.343.5665 within five (5) days of receipt. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we will work with you to make things right. If you change your mind about an item, your refund will be reduced by a restocking charge and you will be responsible for outbound and return shipping and delivery. What are my delivery options and how much do they cost?

How long will it take to receive my order?

Knoll takes pride in our ability to offer our customers a wide range of product, finish and textile options. As a result products are customized for you and are completed only when your order is placed. Standard items will be delivered to you five to six weeks after you receive your order confirmation email. Quickship items will be delivered to you two to three weeks after you receive your order confirmation email.

How will my order be delivered?

We use White Glove service to ship most products. This service includes a delivery appointment, unloading of product, choice of room placement, unpacking, light assembly (up to thirty (30) minutes) and removal of all packaging materials. A limited number of products will ship to you via UPS, given their simpler nature or light weight.

Do you ship orders to Canada?

No, we do not ship Knoll orders to Canada at this time.

Can you ship orders internationally?

We currently ship only to addresses within the United States, except Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Alaska (with the exception of KnollTextiles).

Do Knoll Products come with a Certificate of Authenticity?

Knoll has always created unique furnishings that inspire and endure. When you make a purchase at Knoll.com you have acquired an authentic Knoll piece, produced according to the original and exacting specifications of the designer and reflecting the Knoll standard for quality and durability. With proper care, your authentic Knoll design will retain its character as a signature piece of furniture for years to come. To receive a Certificate of Authenticity for your purchase, simply fill out the postcard included in your delivery.

Are swatches available?

Free swatches are available for most textiles and finishes, and can be requested by clicking on ‘Request A Sample’ on the product page, and then checking out.

How can I be removed from Knoll’s newsletter e-mail list?

If you would prefer not to receive our email newsletter, simply click on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. Your name will automatically be removed from the list. If you cannot do this, please send a message to shopservice@knoll.com with the email address that you'd like us to delete, in the body of the message.
