Classics make waves with regional and national design press

This winter, Knoll continues to make waves with design press in national and regional outlets. Architectural Digest featured the Barcelona Couch—Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s 1930 design—in its February 2020 issue. Market Editor Madeline O’Malley highlighted the piece in her Over the Rainbow editorial, celebrating personal style and design eclecticism.

Regional design press also took note of Knoll classics. Houston House & Home featured Marcel Breuer’s Wassily Chair in its editorial on Classic Blue, Pantone’s Color of the Year, and LA Home spotlighted the Bertoia Side Chair and Florence Knoll Hairpin Table in pink for Breast Cancer Awareness in its shopping wishlist.

In addition, interior designer Jessica Shaw highlighted the Saarinen Executive Armless Chair in her market editorial for Aspire Home & Design. Of her preference for the pieces, she writes, “All Eero Saarinen pieces, in particular the Executive Armless Chair and Tulip Table [are used frequently] in residential projects for both dining and home offices.”

Finally, New Hampshire Home featured the Risom Barstool in its Favorite Finds editorial, commenting on the the reimagined design’s classic touch to any space.
