New Knoll Boston Showroom Achieves LEED Platinum Certification

November 7, 2012

The new Knoll Boston Showroom, which opened earlier this year in the heart of Boston's Innovation District, has achieved LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

The showroom, designed by the Knoll design team, showcases workplace and residential products from KnollOffice, KnollStudio and KnollTextiles. It highlights the range of Knoll open plan, private offices and activity spaces for the commercial, education and healthcare markets, including start-ups and small businesses.

LEED is a voluntary, consensus-based, market-driven program that provides third-party verification of green buildings. "Participation in the voluntary LEED process demonstrates leadership, innovation, environmental stewardship and social responsibility," notes the U.S. Green Buildings Council.
