For the tenth year in a row, Knoll set the stage at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Annual Meeeting in New York City, held this year from September 26 – 29. The meeting's theme, The Future of Impact, "prompts members to define the next decade of commitment-making and highlights the necessary next steps for accelerating progress going forward." As part of the year's theme, CGI invited individuals from around the world "to share their voice and help...envision the future of impact."
Knoll and CGI worked to provide furniture and spaces in support of the meeting's activities. Plenary and breakout sessions featured Remix®, the award-winning work chair by Formway Design that melds upholstered comfort and innovative Flex Net Matrix technology for active support. Remix is rated Sustainable Gold by the SMaRT® Sustainable Product Standard and is BIFMA level 3 certified, as well as GREENGUARD® and GREENGUARD Gold certified, and can contribute to achieving LEED® credits.
Knoll and CGI also worked to create an Activity Spaces lounge destination to support meetings and group work, including Generation by Knoll®, MultiGeneration by Knoll®, Antenna® Workspaces and Suzanne Sofas.
