January 14, 2013
The United Way recognized Knoll East Greenville for its participation in Day of Caring, a United Way initiative designed to inspire businesses to participate in service projects that advance the common good.
Knoll East Greenville associates took part in two volunteer projects, one of which involved "painting the interior of an ACHIEVEability home to help prepare it for a new West Philadelphia family."
"East Greenville office employees [also] volunteered at Green Lane Head Start for the second year in a row, helping the staff clean and organize their classrooms and office space."
Throughout the year, Knoll also sponsored a number of events to raise funds and awareness, including a chili contest and car show.
To mark the beginning of eleven month-long partnerships with non-profit organizations beginning in 2013, Knoll East Greenville announced a partnership with In Ian's Boots.
In Ian's Boots works to collect, clean and distribute shoes, winter boots and soccer cleats to families in the Pennsylvania area.
During the month of February, Knoll East Greenville will be collecting new and gently used shoes to help support the In Ian's Boots efforts.
