Richard Sapper
The iconic designer of the IBM ThinkPad and the Tizio lamp, Richard Sapper's main interest has always been the design of technically complex objects - including ships, chairs, watches, radios, cars and bicycles - with fifteen of his products on permanent display at the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Among this distinguished group is the Knoll Sapper office chair, introduced in 1979, and the Sapper™ Monitor Arm, introduced in 2009.
