Details
Designed in 1978, the Brigadier Sofa embodies Italian architect Cini Boeri’s signature juxtapositions. Rectilinear structural planes are paired with soft, generous upholstery, creating an invitingly tactile statement piece. With its broad, low profile and reflective lacquer finish, Brigadier feels both monumental and chameleon like, grounding a space while subtly receding into it.
  • A celebrated collection by architect Cini Boeri.
  • Generous upholstery envelopes the body.
  • Lacquer finish mirrors and absorbs its surroundings.
  • Low-slung form anchors a room with openness.

Cini Boeri

Cini Boeri

Cini Boeri was an Italian architect and industrial designer who brought the poetic beauty of contrasts to her architecture, furniture, and lighting. Economy and functionalism informed her approach, and she believed the purpose of her work was to create joy.
