Knoll to Sponsor New York Eleven Plus 2020 Student Exhibition

Nonprofit organization showcases and celebrates student work

Knoll will once again sponsor New York Eleven Plus (NY11+), a nonprofit that promotes public awareness of the interior design profession. The organization provides a platform for students to showcase work. By increasing visibility of design education, NY11+ emphasizes the complexity and responsibility of the profession as it pertains to health, safety, welfare and the economy.

Knoll’s sponsorship supports the organization’s 2020 Annual Interior Design Student Exhibition. The exhibition celebrates student work from New York State institutions that offer four-year programs in Interior Design. This year’s program, Interior Design: Beauty of Design+Science of Innovation, will take place in New York City on April 7.

Ruth Lynford founded NY11+ in 1997 as an exhibition of work from six New York metropolitan area interior design institutions. To date, more than a dozen schools—Cornell, Fashion Institute of Technology, Parsons, New York School of Interior Design, Parsons and more—join together each year in New York City to exhibit student work, reaching the design community and new audiences.
