Knoll won the 2018 FSC Leadership Award for serving as the largest contract supplier of FSC-certified furniture in the United States and offering FSC-certified wood as a standard component of its furniture. A leading advocate for independent third-party certification, Knoll established a partnership with the Forest Stewardship Council in 2009 that is still alive today. Knoll associates accepted the award in a celebration hosted by FSC at the Glessner Coach House in Chicago, Illinois.
