When the Ford's Theatre Center for Education and Leadership moved to its new Washington, D.C., office, the center worked with Knoll and Knoll dealer, Spaces Inc., to create an open and contemporary aesthetic. A contract with U.S. Communities allowed the center to select classic Knoll pieces that came in within the price point.
Open plan offices at the center feature Dividends Horizon® workstations with open weave fabric screens, which create strong horizontal lines while maintaining a visual lightness. Series 2 mobile pedestals provide additional workstation storage and guest seating. Reff Profiles® delivers cost efficient architectural presence in the center's private office. EWC Pro™ side chairs offer guest seating.
In smaller meeting rooms, Propeller® square column-based tables blend function and aesthetic and are paired with MultiGeneration by Knoll®, which encourages collaboration, with a responsive, open design that supports a range of postures.
