Interior Design Magazine Highlights Designs by Alejandro Cardenas for KnollTextiles at the Knoll Shop in New York City

Designs by Alejandro Cardenas and other fabrics from KnollTextiles, as well as the award-winning Knoll Shop in New York City, are Included in the Interior Design magazine round up of “the past year's most enlightening architecture, interiors, furniture and art."

Upholstery designs by Alejandro Cardenas include Soon, used as upholstery on Saarinen Tulip Stools in the Knoll Home Design Shop, as well as Glider and Biscayne. The collection is characterized by vibrant colors and bold patterns.

The Knoll Shop, designed by Architecture Research Office, is the recipient of the 2014 Institute Awards for Interior Architecture from the American Institute of Architects (AIA). It is the first direct-to-consumer store from Knoll and features residential and outdoor furniture and accessories, including classic furniture designs by Mies van der Rohe, Eero Saarinen, Harry Bertoia and Richard Schultz, as well as new designs by Marc Krusin, Daniel Stromborg and David Adjaye.
