On Monday, April 6, 2015, Antenna Design, the duo behind Knoll designs including Antenna® Workspaces, Antenna® Telescope, Interpole®, Toboggan® and the Sparrow® Light, met with members of the architecture and design community at Knoll dealer CBI Knoxville.
At CBI Knoxville, a Knoll dealer in Tennessee, Antenna Design principals Masamichi Udagawa and Sigi Moeslinger held two sessions discussing their work for Knoll as well as projects for Bloomberg L.P., Jet Blue, the City of New York MTA and the Washington, D.C. Metro.
The duo also presented at the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and Design, addressing their approach that “all design is interaction design and every artifact is an intervention inserted into our lives to cause a behavior change.”
Masamichi Udagawa, a Cranbrook Academy graduate, and Sigi Moeslinger, who holds degrees from NYU and Art Center College of Design, founded Antenna Design in 1997. The firm’s "people-centered design approach aims to make the experience of objects and environments more meaningful and exciting."
