MTV Networks

MTV Networks, which includes MTV, VH1, TV Land, Spike TV and Comedy Central, is one of the world’s leaders in broadcasting and music entertainment. MTV Networks relocated its New York offices to five stories in an historic building in the West Village.

Working with Studios Architecture, MTV Networks created an open, vibrant workplace to complement their young staff. The Knoll Dividends Horizon® office system offers new, pragmatic planning and aesthetic opportunities for individual and shared workstations. Here, it provides a sense of community and space while energizing the workplace with bright colors and new materials.

MTV Networks selected Dividends Horizon® for its open plan workstations, which feature custom frameless acrylic add-ups on panels and translucent acrylic inserts in end screens. Low credenzas with seat pads create impromptu visitor seating. Custom Knoll Reff Profiles® components were selected for the wardrobes, credenzas, and overheads. Shared open overheads in a variety of finishes and mobile AutoStrada® pedestals with seat pads create the fun yet professional feel. The SMaRT© Gold certified Life® chair is featured at each of the workstations, as well as the energy-efficient Copeland Light™.
