Saarinen Designs for Knoll Included in REVEALing Architecture Exhibit by FXFOWLE

Designs by Eero Saarinen for Knoll, including the Saarinen Womb Chair and Saarinen Side Table, are included in REVEALing Architecture, an exhibition that that explores the evolution of design ideas of FXFOWLE, an architecture and design firm with offices in New York and Washington DC."

The exhibition highlights far‐ranging parti models to detailed studies of architectural language to the final form. Models, renderings, drawings and photography from nine of the firm’s projects are displayed, in addition to over 75 conceptual and architectural models, and a site‐specific installation that celebrates the shelter-making role of architecture.

"A portion of the exhibition (shown above) is a site-specific installation entitled–Constructed Aurora–that celebrates the shelter-making role of architecture," says Brien McDaniel FXFOWLE director of communications.

REVEALing Architecture coincides with the release of FXFOWLE’s new Monograph, Reveal Filter Evolve Effect.

REVEALing Architecture will be on display at the National Academy Museum & School, located at 1083 Fifth Avenue in New York City, through May 3, 2015. Gallery hours are 11am to 6pm Wednesday through Sunday.
