The Monday, June 16, 2014 issue of Monday Morning Quarterback (MMQB) highlights NeoCon 2014 introductions from Knoll including Remix by Knoll™, Bounce by Knoll™ and FilzFelt panels designed by ARO in NeoCon: Manufacturers Search for Solutions to new Workstyles.
“Knoll introduced its Remix upholstered chair that was designed to give sitters all the advantages of the latest technologies in comfort with the look of upholstery,” writes MMQB.
Additionally, it “was a breeze to make [your] way around the Knoll space,” MMQB continues. “The company was showing some of the most interesting products among the largest manufacturers.” The “spruced up” Knoll showroom was also highlighted The new Plank Series Wall System by ARO and Array series explored the use of felt in creating privacy.”
MMQB also celebrates the “passing of the baton” at the BIFMA Breakfast at NeoCon 2014, where the new BIFMA president Lynn Utter, Knoll president and COO, gave morning remarks. BIFMA, it was founded in 1973 with a mission to lead, advocate, inform and develop standards for the North American office and institutional furniture industry.
Under Utter’s leadership, BIFMA will focus on improving its data, and “moving its level and e3 environmental programs forward.” Utter observed that the “office furniture [industry] is at an incredible point. There are “ripe” markets our there and clients craving a different way of working.
“It really was a terrific show this year,” Utter said. “There really are a lot of clients out there wanting change.”
