This Knoll Shop Selling Policy only applies to online sales of Knoll Product Lines (“Products”) made by Knoll, Inc. (“Knoll”, "Seller", “We”, “Us” or “Our”) through the Knoll Shop website, 800# and Home Design Shop, and replaces any other documents or discussions Knoll previously had with You, the purchaser ("Purchaser", “You” or “Your”). All prices, terms, discounts and product offerings are subject to change without notice.
Residential sales by Knoll of Knoll and Muuto Products within the United States are made only on the terms which are contained in this Selling Policy. Knoll objects to any different or additional terms and conditions that You may propose. This sale is expressly conditional upon Your agreement to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may be changed only by a written document signed by both parties. The parties intend that these terms and conditions, together with the order confirmation and final invoice sent to You via electronic mail, constitute the final, complete, and exclusive agreement between Knoll and You.
Your order is not binding until You have received Your order confirmation from Knoll, which will be transmitted to You through electronic mail. You should print and review Your order confirmation and retain a copy for Your records. Knoll reserves the right, without notice to You, to limit Your order quantity and/or refuse service to any customer. Knoll reserves the right to cancel any order and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions.
The prices charged by Knoll shall be those prices in effect on the date of Our receipt of a complete order from You. These merchandise prices do not include the cost of shipping the Products to Your designated “Ship To” address or any taxes on shipping, when applicable. You will be charged prior to the time Your order is shipped.
Sales tax will be charged according to the ultimate “Ship To” destination of Your order. All sales, use, excise and other taxes applicable to the sale of the Products are Your sole responsibility and will be charged at the time the Products are shipped. Knoll will provide You with an estimate of these taxes at the time You submit Your order; however, this estimate may be revised by Knoll prior to shipment of Your order if tax rates change.
You are required to provide a valid credit card number to Knoll when Your order is submitted. By submitting Your order, You authorize Knoll to charge Your credit card for the entire purchase price, plus shipping costs and taxes and any applicable restocking charges or return delivery/freight charges. Knoll reserves the right to accept or reject the credit card number You provide when You enter Your order. By submitting an order and a credit card number, You represent to Knoll that You are the card holder, that the card is valid and that You are authorized to make the charges. Credit cards issued by banks located outside the United States of America will not be accepted.
Any change or cancellation to an order containing In-stock or Quickship products is required by 8am EST of the next business day, following our receipt of Your order. Any change or cancellation to an order containing standard lead time products (ie not In-stock or Quickship) is required within five (5) business days following our receipt of Your order. To initiate an order change or cancellation please promptly send an email to email@example.com, state Change or Cancel in Subject line, and include your request, order #, and telephone number. Any changes or cancellations will be confirmed by a Knoll Customer Service representative via a direct email to you.
KnollTextiles and Spinneybeck /Filzfelt Orders may not be cancelled by customer without the written consent of Knoll. Substantial cancellation/re-stocking charges are applicable. is dependent on shipment method and location of delivery. Knoll will notify You via electronic mail when Your shipment leaves our facility. All In-stock or Quickship products are subject to availability at the time of order submission. No deliveries will be made to PO boxes.
Knoll uses two shipping methods based on the product ordered. Shipping charges reflect charges for orders placed as of 7/1/20.
White glove delivery is mandatory for many Knoll products to avoid damage in transit. This service includes a delivery appointment, unloading of product, choice of room placement, unpacking, light assembly (up to thirty (30) minutes) and removal of all packaging materials. Knoll is not responsible for specific carrier delivery date or time.

Products designated to ship FedEx or UPS (ground service only) can only be delivered to destinations within the United States, excluding Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Alaska with the exception of KnollTextiles® products. Knoll shall not be responsible for specific carrier delivery date or time.

Some Knoll Products are shipped disassembled. Assembly instructions are provided on knoll.com. In the event that You have any questions regarding assembly of Your purchased Products after you have received them, You should contact Knoll Customer Service at 800 343-5665 or SHOPSERVICE@KNOLL.COM.
You are responsible for inspecting all Products for visible damage when You receive Your order. Damage to the packaging alone does not constitute damage to the Product and will not be considered valid for claim purposes. You must report any damage to Customer Service at 800 343-5665 or SHOPSERVICE@KNOLL.COM within five (5) days of Your receipt of the Products. Knoll will repair or replace the Product damaged in shipment only if You have notified Knoll of the damage within five (5) days of receiving the Product. If submitting a claim for damage in transit for a UPS delivery, You must retain all Product and packaging for inspection. After Customer Service has verified Your damage in transit claim, We may send You new packaging and labels so that You can return the Product to Knoll at no charge to You. Once the Product is received and verified by Knoll, we will either repair or replace the Product and send it back to You at no additional charge.
Except as set forth below, Standard merchandise purchased from knoll.com may be returned subject to pre-approval from Knoll within three (3) days of receipt. Standard merchandise is defined as pre-configured finish options available on knoll.com. All products must be received by Knoll in original condition for a refund to be approved. All shipping fees, including outbound and return shipping, will not be refunded and all returns are subject to potential restocking charges based on the original purchase price as outlined below. Custom products and all products with marble or engineered stone may NOT be returned.
To receive authorization for a Product return, contact Customer Service at 800 343-5665 or SHOPSERVICE@KNOLL.COM within three (3) days of receiving Your order, providing Your Knoll order number, the Product you wish to return and the reason for the return. When approved, Knoll will provide a return authorization number and specific return shipping instructions. If the Product has been assembled, Knoll may provide You replacement packing cartons that You must use instead of the packing cartons that were originally provided with the Product. Any orders received via UPS or Fedex must be returned in their original packing cartons. If such packaging has been discarded it is Your responsibility to get sufficient packaging from UPS or Fedex for the return. All returned Products must be in original condition. After the product has been received, Knoll will credit the credit card You used to pay for Your order. Product that is shipped out Fed Ex and UPS, Knoll will issue a complete refund. For product that is delivered through a White Glove Agent, you will receive your refund minus any applicable restocking charge and the outbound and return white glove shipping fee. Please see the table below. No refund or credit shall be given for returned Products that are damaged for reasons beyond Our control.

KnollTextiles, Spinneybeck and Filzfelt products may not be returned without prior written consent and all returns must be in accordance with shipping instructions. Returns of leftover wall or other fabrics not utilized on installations will not be authorized or accepted under any circumstances. Products outside the scope of those sold on knoll.com, vintage products and all products with marble may NOT be returned. Felt placemats, coasters and leather pulls are not returnable.

Seller warrants to the original Purchaser only that the Products Seller manufactures and sells to Purchaser are free of defects in workmanship and materials, during the applicable warranty period set forth below.
Warranty period set forth below is for 24-hour, 7 days a week, multi shift use (includes parts and labor to repair).
Should any failure to conform with this limited warranty appear to a Product listed below during the applicable warranty period from the date of shipment, Seller shall, upon prompt written notice, repair or replace, at its option and costs, the affected part or parts.

Knoll warrants to the original purchaser that all textiles products under normal wear and tear shall meet the specifications listed in the current KnollTextiles Price Catalogue under each product’s name, including lightfastness, durability and flame retardant rating for a period of one (1) year with remedies as follows: should any failure to conform with this limited warranty appear on the textile product during the first year after the date of shipment, upon prompt written notice Knoll will repair or replace, at its option, the affected textile, including upholstery materials only. KnollTextiles cannot guarantee consistency of color between dyelots.
Spinneybeck leather and Filzfelt products carry a one (1) year limited warranty from the date of shipment against manufacturing defects. For purposes of this warranty, manufacturing defects do not include normal wear, user modifications, acts or omissions of persons other than Spinneybeck, improper cleanings, adverse environmental conditions, surface blemishes, and/or other characteristics considered natural. Natural characteristics include, but are not limited to: healed scars, nicks and fat wrinkles. Leather that does not perform properly due to application is Your responsibility, as Spinneybeck does not guarantee workmanship. Because leather is a natural product, Spinneybeck cannot guarantee consistency of color between dyelots.
THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES CONTAINED IN THIS SELLING POLICY ARE THE ONLY WARRANTIES THAT KNOLL MAKES AND TAKE THE PLACE OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
The remedies provided in this Knoll Shop Selling Policy are Your only remedies for any failure by Knoll to comply with its promises regarding the workmanship of its Products. Knoll’s correction of any defect in the manner and for the period of time provided shall constitute complete fulfillment of all liabilities of Knoll, with respect to or arising out of the Product sold to You.
Knoll shall not be liable for failure to perform or for delay in performance due to fire, flood, strike or other labor difficulty, act of God, act of any governmental authority, riot, embargo, acts of war or terrorism, fuel or energy shortage, wrecks or delay in transportation, inability to obtain necessary labor, materials or manufacturing facilities from usual sources or failure of suppliers to meet their contractual obligations, or due to any cause beyond Knoll’s reasonable control. If one of these events occurs, Knoll may extend delivery dates by a period of time necessary to overcome the effect of the delay, allocate available Product or cancel any order.
KNOLL, ITS CONTRACTORS, AUTHORIZED DEALERS AND SUBCONTRACTORS OR SUPPLIERS OF ANY TIER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (DAMAGES THAT ARISE FROM AN ACT, BUT DO NOT DIRECTLY RELATE TO THE ACT) ARISING FROM A BREACH OF THIS AGREEMENT. YOUR REMEDIES SET FORTH IN THIS SELLING POLICY ARE EXCLUSIVE AND THE LIABILITY OF KNOLL WITH RESPECT TO THE BREACH OF THIS SELLING POLICY OR ANY CONTRACT ENTERED INTO BETWEEN YOU AND KNOLL SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT OR PART ON WHICH THIS LIABILITY IS BASED.
IF THE LAWS OF ANY JURISDICTION DO NOT PERMIT LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCIDENTAL DAMAGES AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, THESE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY. IN THESE JURISDICTIONS, THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS SHALL BE ENFORCED TO THE GREATEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
The law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania governs this Selling Policy and all sales in the Knoll Shop. Knoll makes no representation that the information in the Knoll Shop is appropriate or available for use in other locations, and access to this Site from territories where the content of the Site may be illegal is prohibited.
